Some good news

They were able to get FISH results (and, presumably, will get the full CVS results) on Fra.nz. No trisomy 13, 18, or 21, and Fr.anz is indeed a boy, as I suspected. (Okay, and my suspicions were mostly informed by my knowledge that more boys are born from singleton blast transfers -- 64% boys vs. 36% girls.) If Fr.anz makes it, we'll never be paying for a wedding! (I will, out of convenience, hew firmly to tradition on this one. )

Yay for Fanz being Franz and not FranZINE! :)

Your last post sounds encouraging and disheartening all at once. I'm sorry it's not just "oh, it's all ok now!" but I'm also glad that things looked as good as they did!! And that your doc seems to want to keep a handle on everything.

Thinking of you!

Yay for the good news! You needed some after your last post. Also I have a little boy and would love to have another boy if I am able to have a second child. So congrats to that! No barbies for you! Go Franz!!!!

I am glad there is some good news with all of this. Keep hanging in there, Franz is doing well and I hope he continues to do so.

Great results from the FISH. Now if we could just stop worrying about other stuff, that would be great too... :-)

Congratulations on a baby boy!

When I told my doctor I started bleeding, she wasn't concerned about the baby aspirin I was on. Then, when we found out I had a small clot, the CVS doctor was shocked and told me to stop immediately. Plus, he said since I was on the aspirin he wouldn't have performed the CVS anyway (we opted not to since I had a clot). About five days after stopping the aspirin, I stopped seeing bright red blood. I hope the same happens for you. Hang in there. It sounds like your body is healing and the baby is healthy. Focus on the positive! Sending you good thoughts.

one more thing...my OB was surprised that the other doctor felt so strongly about the baby aspirin. I was pretty upset that two doctors in the same practice felt so differently, but I guess that's how it goes. You are doing some great research.

Yay for another boy! He's sure to be as adorable as So*ren. Hang in there with the clot--we are thinking of you.

I am glad you got some good news. Now we just need to waterboard that clot until it renounces its terrorist ways.

And I'm ecstatic that my hopes for an arranged marriage can continue!
