Attention, media
"Implant" is not a synonym for "transfer." You'd think that the TV interviewers (Ann Curry) and publications (New York Times) would notice that whenever they talk to a fertility doctor or the octuplet mom herself, those people consistently say "transfer." Transfer! Transfer! Gah.

Yes but her doctor claims to have a technique that "implants" them under a patch of skin/tissue(or something)in the uterus. So since he claims thats what his technique does...thats probably why they keep using it. However in general discussions of IVF the media does tend to say implant instead of transfer.
That is SO my own pet peeve.
Oh there was even a Doctor on Dr. Phil the other day that used the term. Morons!!
